I hope the 30 of you have voted! I hope the next will do it too!

Remember, don't try to cheat (by voting more times with some techniques), your vote would be disqualified!

I think I forgot but at the end three persons will win the right to order a CD by CD-Japan!

(é_è)

But it takes one minute to make another one... And another minute to vote for B'z and Koshi...

Sometimes it looks like fans of Hamasaki, L'arc en ciel or some other Japanese artists are more motivated than (international) B'z fans...

I hope you change your mind until January 30th!  :)

Honestly, I don't understand this kind of poll. Or better, I don't understand why I should vote in such polls.
This is from a French website... I'm not French and I don't understand French. If people from other countries start to vote I'd feel like polls are altered.
I don't care if Ayu or Lakuru have more "motivated" fans... They just have more fans than B'z, it's a matter of fact even if we don't like it. If the poll winner would came to tour in Europe, I'd vote right away, but it's not this case.

Come on Lum, what are you talking about?

We know you are Italian, and you surely know you can travel free inside the European Union, so you can come from Italy to France with no one at the border asking where you are going or what you want to do. You also know we have the same money.

Laruku, or L'Arc-en-Ciel, is a big band and has already come... to Paris. Gackt has come to Paris (and London that's right). The biggest event outside Japan for Japanese culture is the Japan Expo every year... in Paris and every year with more artists from Japan. In 2010 you could see members of X-Japan for example.

Personnally, I don't think as just a French but as a European and if there was such a poll in Germany, in England or in Italy I would try to participate and to support B'z.

And yes, it's from a French site but the Internet is a free world, so this topic is just an invitation from me, a least an information. Nobody is obliged to participate.

Of course if B'z would come to Europe I'd be in front row for every single concert... But this kind of pool don't have any "officiality". If, for example, was the Japan Expo organization to hold such a poll, it'd be different.

Yes that's right, this poll is not official but what means officiality? Is Japan Expo official? But nobody said once: "Okay now, Japan Expo is official."

People on the forum don't know (maybe the French) but the organizer of these French J-music Awards, Shito, is well-known among the French fans of Japanese music. I don't have the same taste as him but I respect him for his passion and engagement.

For years, his line is to be and to stay independent from commercial business. That's why this "award" or poll is interesting because there is no commercial thought in the background. Japan Expo is now big business like the website JAME and they could not have such polls without being concerned by any artists or bands.

On the contrary, Shito tries to give the biggest choice in his poll, and during a month people can discover artists or bands they didn't know before. This poll is also a good publicity for B'z and I don't know any other website in the world doing that so precisely and honnestly. And once again, the Internet doesn't have borders so that's why I think everybody could participate from everywhere in the world, even if the poll is originally French and in French (the results are also in English). If anybody has questions about the language or the working of the poll, he or she can ask me.

Voilà  :)

If Japan Expo organization'd hold such a poll, I could think they're asking an opinion about who invite (or try to invite) the next year, that's what I mean with "official".

I don't think that polls are bad idea, really. But from my experience I can say people don't care about "others", they just vote their favourite without caring of the rest (that's another reason I usually don't partecipate in this kind of things: I don't know most of band/people/whatever and I feel bad voting someone just "because I know him/her/they" - yes, I'm strange).
So... the poll is good to see popularity of j-pop in French? maybe
It can help B'z populatity? hardly
It can help taking B'z or other artist to come performing in Europe? very very unlikely, from my point of view.

I don't say you're wrong.

But France is a big market in Europe, so when an artist is known in this land there are more chances to see him come to Europe. You're right about the behaviour of the fans. But my point is to help B'z becoming notorious.

How can be someone popular if he's not notorious first? It's complicated for the people to love B'z in one minute because they have a long career with many albums and songs.

The most important thing is to help B'z becoming notorious. Just when many people will be able to say: "B'z? Yes I know this band" just then we will be able to work on the popularity.

That's why I think this poll has an interest, but I can be wrong.

Anyway, I'll give here the results when they'll be published. I hope they will interest you.

Hi guys! Back again after a long time (though my love for B'z hasn't diminished at all), but missed the voting for this.  :( Hope a lot of you voted!

Well, I'm from Poland. If there was such a poll (what is rare possible ^^" ) almost all votes would go for visual key bands, because as far I can see these are the only known bands here and their fans are almost everywhere. I get pissed off when I hear a lot of people saying that JRock=Visual key and nothing more -.- So, if B'z or Koshi appear in such a poll they would have only two or three votes and on top would be The Gazette, Miyavi, Gackt, An Cafe, Girugamesh and so on.

After there would be Jpop artists which are the most popular: Arashi, KAT-TUN, Ayumi Hamasaki (and BoA who is from Korea) but I haven't met yet anyone who even knows Perfume or AKB48 what surprised me a lot oO

Don't get me too wrong, but j-music is not that well known in Poland as in other countries like Italy or Germany, and most of people who listen to it are aged from 11 to 25 who would be interested in such polls and others may not even focus more whose songs they collect :P (describing other people which I know here XD)

So firstly that kind of poll would be very unpopular and secondly anything connected with B'z would count there like nothing ^^" I'm very impressed by France for the popularity of j-music in this country *-*
