Best B'z Album?
« on: August 25, 2010, 07:07:27 PM »
Seeing as I'm on a posting spree, I'd thought I'd post this one. What do you guys think is the best B'z album?
I included the EPs because after thinking it through I wanted to vote for Friends 2, just holds a special place for me.

I allowed 3 votes per user so it wouldn't be that hard  ;)

I voted for Loose, Survive and Brotherhood.
My favorite of those 3 is probably Brotherhood.

Ok first, it's not only hard to choose one. It's hard to choose three too  :D

I voted for 7th Blues (my all-time-favorite), Brotherhood, Magic

Only 3? There should be 5 and more XD

I picked B'z, Survive and Magic. I like their first album more than next ones like Off The Lock or Breakthrough it's just more enjoyable in full length for me even if it doesn't have such a songs like Lady-Go-Round or Oh Girl ^-^'

Oookay, so let's see.
I picked Run, so that I will seem to be heavily intellectual haha, Monster for obvious reasons and Green becuase... erh. Because I would have choosen so much more, I went by "okay, Ultra Soul is on it, so let it be Green, dang"

Runner ups are Big Machine, Action, Magic annnd everything except for Eleven. I'm sorry. Eleven is kind of the biggest musical disappointment in my life.

Yes, I love Eleven- juice, tobira, seventh heaven, ai no prisoner, kobushi wo nigire- I gone crazy about hardrocking on this album. And Thinking of you is just wonderful for me *-* I was surprised that most of singles are ballads- May, Ring, Kon'ya tsuki no mieru oka ni versus juice XD

But I really like Green too- I listen to it when I draw, learn or just relax, I thing these sound which are on Green are rally great and these more rocking tracks sound here like not on any other album ;)

...Eleven is THAT hard rock? Gee, I really haven't listened to it enough.
Let's recap. Juice is on it, and it's great. Kony Tsuki is amazing, one of the few ballads I can bear. And... urgh. To be honest I don't feel it to be so heavy and all that. I just realized that from Seventh Heaven straight to May all the songs just "annoy" me. I have no clue why. Usually I love hard rock (also metal, but that's another topic).
...wait Ai No Prisoner is good. Also Shinjiru Kurai. And I like to listen to Kirameku Hito at times. As well as to Raging River. And I like Seventh Heaven sometimes.
I totally lost my line of thoughts there.
Okay maybe I like Eleven. Maybe my problem is that it's TRYING to be harder than usual but it kind of fails? I don't know. I don't even understand myself.

So you don't like GREEN, GO FIGHT WIN, SURFIN 3000 GTR, Ultra Soul and FOREVER MINE? Oh well... and here I thought that was rock/hard rock  :P

Surfin is the black sheep for me - why was that autotune necessary. Seriously. Just WHY. Such a shame.

And that's basically all the negative things I can say - everything else is perfect.

I think that no matter how hard rock they try to play they always have something ,,bright" in their sound. What, for me, makes them just sound like B'z and no other band or copy of something. Their hard rock is energetic not tiring (lol, my sister always asks me why Koshi didn't growl 'cause she loves metal XD) Eleven is just different from previous and next album, so it's hard to say if it's good or bad chapter of their career, depends on what one prefer, personally I really like every single song from this album ^^

So Loose, Brotherhood and Magic are the most voted ones. I am slightly surprised about Magic, but it's a good album..
