I'm writing just to say that until 4-02-2010 I won't be able to update the songbook with new transaltions (I have to learn to a big, terrible exam - the General history of state and law - wish me luck!!) but later I'll have more time and I'll do this for sure (of course if I won't fail the exam and have to take it again  :'(   )
I'm very happy you like this idea of making big and complete B'z sogbook! I'll write to you as soon as possible!
Greetings :)

Hi, I'm back :P Sorry it took so long, but I'm writing new book so... don't have much time again (I even can't sleep at night because of writing).
But I've added all lyrics from this topic into the songbook and now I'm going to edit them (I mean - add marks which part is chorus etc) and I hope today evening I'll upload it somewhere and give you a link.
And I'm waiting for new transaltions of course :P

Greetings

EDIT:

Here it is. --> http://rapidshare.com/files/353311484/B_z_songs_2010_-_2nd_edition.pdf.html
You can print it as a book in A4 format.
I know the credits page at the beginning must be changed - so I'm asking everyone, who have translated any song, post here how do you want to be mentioned - just by name, by name and with titles of translated songs, by website...?
Sometimes there are two or event three translations for one song, so I had to choose one - which I found as best one - so, if you want to write next to your name all translated by you titles, first check if it's your translation for sure :P
And another thing - if you're making another romanization and translation, please, try to make same marks as I do - for chorus *), verse 1), 2)..., for bridge #) or &) or other if it has another melody, !) or ^) for shouting, <) intro, >) outro  etc. Of course you don't have to remember all of this marks, you can use other (I'll change them later :P) but numbers for verses and * for choruses are so very much welcomed XD

Greetings!
And hope you like the songbook ;)

P.S.
oh, one more thing - if someone could upload it on some private server, it would be great, because rapidshare allow only first 10 person to download it. It would be best if Arthuro can do this :)

Here is my feedback for the book.

First of all, you use many different font size for every single pages.  That is NOT OK.  Just imagine yourself reading a book that changes the size of the writing every single page.  I know that all the songs have a different amount of lyrics, but you know, it's nice to see a continuation

English songs... Since they are already in English (duh!), it would be cool to have it centered in the page and had to the title "(English song)".

No need for all those symbols at the beginning of each verse, chorus & etc..... Just place asterisks "*" at the begining of the verse/chorus that is repeated and pu "* Repeat" where it is repeated.  Everything else is confusing.

The index at the begining was great, but the one for the singles needs to be thought of...

The lyrics for Splash...  There are a LOT of lyrics...  So, what I would recommand is put the Japanese on one page and the English on the other.

For the notes in The Gambler, Being simply (1) or (2), it would be better if they were in superscript aka text2

For the lyrics of Bad Communication E.Style (Wicked Beat Vers.), I am the one who sent them to Keem at the time.  I did not have the original record at the time and did it by hear, so here is the corrected version from the booklet of the original record :
Quote
Lady I can't feel what's in my heart of steal
I know you're looking lovely and I know how sweet you are
Is it love? or is it not
Oh, I don't know wow wow wow~

Goin' through the nights step in the light
We can save more time and grow our precious love so strong
Talk to me, wnna talk to you
I say wow wow wow~

*Now where do we go?
Just face to face
And don't turn your eyes away from the truth
Nothing to fear
Just you & I
So let's make sure what's goin' on

Hey, hey, say you love it, right now, let it all our
You don't need to hide away
Just tell me what you're thinkin'
Hey, hey, say you hate it, right now, let it all off
Wanna get to know you better
Let me see your naked eyes
Hey, hey, speak up
We need, wow wow wow~
Bad Communication!

Thought love was on your mind, but found nothing of the kind
There is something missing baby, something just not right
Is it time? Or is it money?
I don't know wow wow wow~

Waiting for the chime; the sign to tell the time
We've got no revelation. we're free as we can be
Movin' out, an' movin' in
We say wow wow wow~

* Repeat

** Hey, hey, say you love it, right now, let it all out
You don't need to hide away
Just tell me what you're thinkin'
Hey, hey, say you hate it, right now, let it all off
I wanna get to know you better
Let me see your naked eyes
Hey, hey, I say I love it, right now, I'll let it all out
So hurry up, come on baby
Hey, hey, I say I hate it, right now, I'll let it all off
Wow, wow, wow~
Bad Communication

I can hear your thing, you can hear me sing
We can get along together, we can make it through
So say yeah, yeah, alright
We say wow, wow, wow~

* Repeat
** Repeat

Hey speak up, we need, hey, hey
Wow, wow, wow~ Bad Communication

** Repeat

Another thing I can think of... the stranslation of "Itsuka No Merry Christmas" isn't "Merry Christmas Once Upon A Time", it's more like "Once Upon A Time A Merry Christmas"

Very last thing : Home E.Style isn't unreleased anymore... it's on The Best Ultra Treasure, disc 2.  Logic too... but only released on DVD (HIDDEN PLEASURE~TYPHOON NO.20~, disc 3)

to Lebon14

I use many sizes bacause I want to put every song at only one page. It's is not a novel, which you read page after page, so I don't see a problem. And using only one, very small size would be a waste of space (because I'd still put only one song at a page)

If song is in English I think everyone sees that at the first glance.

Well, I choosed all this different symbols beacuse I wanted to point even slightest changes in melody scheme. Maybe if you wnt to use the lyrics in karaoke it's not needed, but when you, for example, play on the guitar, or try to use your own lyric and you want to understand how the song is built it may help. It also shows how B'z songs change in time, how they're getting more complicated. And I don't find it confusing.

What exactly is wrong with the singles list?

I have printed my songbook in A4 book, and there's no problem in reading Splash lyrics.

Bold is used to manifest something, and brackets are for insert comments. So I think it's good as it is. Plus, it's copied from Keen's page - so, why should I think it's a bad choice?

I'll correct Bad Communication E.Style (Wicked Beat Vers.), thank you.

I also thought "Once upon a time...." would be better, but can I really change someone's translation? If I do it, I just put space between japanese words I'm learned they should be seperate and sometimes, when I see it, change ha into wa.

OK, I'll replace them.

----

If someone has any other suggestions, please, write. If most of you will find something really needs to be changed, I'll do it. I'll do next update after I get about 10 new romanizations+translations and translators decisions how they want to be mentioned in credit page.

Greetings :)

PS: There are still some songs missing... for example DIVE has already been translated.

Shouldn't we ask to Keen if it's ok for her to do this kind of work?

I think Keen didn't have time now for B'z, because of her baby  ;)

The Lyricsbook is great. The only thing that's missing is a backround, i think. It would be great if we have the sheets for every single song, but yeah that's impossible. Tak would never gave this to us  :D

Just wondering if anyone knows if the rest of the songs on the album Magic have been translated by anyone anywhere?
I really wanted to read them... :'(
