It's not that I think Eric's voice is bad... it's just that... well, maybe because it's in English that it sounds quite weird to me.  I think that I prefer the japanese by B'z over Eric's English cover.

Yea, it's a good cover, but it's just so weird to hear it in english and Inabas voice is much better for this song.

Yeah weird to hear englisch Lyrics. I want to sing along and then notice it's the english version. But he did a great job. Will the CD only released in Japan??

I have difficulty understanding some of Eric's lyrics. :( His accent maybe, or just me? I prefer lyrics which I can hear clearly, which is one of the reasons why I love B'z songs.

It's alright...
The original is way better to me.
Inaba's voice is much sadder and the music is slower and it's just more of a christmas song.

A good, sad christmas song:)
Or well it's happy the first 3 min, but then it gets so~ sad  :'(

Yeah you are right. B'z version is much sadder then this version.
But anyway i think he did a great job. Koshi's voice fits the song perfect, i know, but the song is good enough to work with Eric's voice too  ;)

I've never heard about that. Obviously B'z's version is better but this one isn't so bad.

Eric has a very nice voice and it's nice that he made this version. But it doesn't compare with original, that's obvious, first of all Itsuka no Merry Christmas sounds very special in every aspect (vocal, instrumental, piece of art in one word) and Eric probably wanted to make it sound more fresh and it turned into one of millions christmas songs in America that nobody will remember even if melody of original is beautiful Eric version is just casual. But in my opinion he's so sweet there XDDD Anyway nothing will beat original, it's obvious, but maybe now exist more Americans who would place these notes ;)
