Definitely... His work on Friction -Lap 2-, Junjou Action, Kuroi Seishun.... and countless others are just incredible. He deserves to be more well known in the States and the world, as does B'z.  :'(

agreed.. even without a flashy guitar solo, his guitar riff in the whole song is fantastic..
the perfect example would be Junjou Action.. I love this song to bits

Gahh! I was going to say that!    I love him for being alive and for being the greatest musician ever.  Without him, B'z would never have been.

emm, what i like..
the first B'z song i heard was Kienai Niji..
that time when was it.. end of 1990s.. my pen-pal sent mixed-J-songs cassette.

Tak made me fall in love.. especially at the ending part.

it's like he flew me to the highest sky XD

i've got a friend who swear she never and won't ever like B'z..
she thought rock music is such a noisy sound.
but after she watch my fanvid... using "Happy Birthday" song..
she was amazed with Tak's guitar!

even if he play guitar toy..
positively he could compose something beautiful...

Of course the fact that he's an amazing guitar player
and has composed over 300 songs!!
Also love the way he is.. like he's one of the most successful guitar players in the world,
but he isn't bragging about it at all. Very down to earth all the time (the same with Inaba )

All his solo's in B'z songs are so awesome. It's as if he's saying "look at me putting 11534 notes into a 15 second solo"
Got that from someone else. Can't remember who, but I think it's a pretty good way to describe it, cause in some songs they are completely MAD!
For example in Giri Giri Chop, BURN ~fumetsu no feisu~, Shoudou and Arakure... and many many many more of course
