I translate the lyrics as-is, and try to demonstrate the meaning of the song.

I really appreciate your effort, but what you did with DIVE was interpreting the lyrics a lot, they don't even reflect the japanese lyrics at times.

Ayumi's song "Sunrise/Sunset ~LOVE is ALL~" has moved down on a second place.
It would be so cool if B'z could get another first place when it comes to the weekly sales.

mmmn...ichbu/dive is doing very well but that understandable because I think all the songs on this single are really good. It definitely outsold Burn.

It's also outselling Super Love song.
They've sold around the same in the first week, but Super Love Song sold around 27.000 in it's second week while Ichibu to Zenbu/Dive has sold almost 50.000!!!

It's a good second week for B'z and a very bad first for Hamasaki. They say she could beat B'z someday in the overall selling ranking because she has sold more in 10 years than B'z in the same time. But I think she won't be able to sell any CD in 10 years... (if someone is able to sell any CD in 10 years)

So I think B'z will stay at the 1st place for a long long time. They are so regular and they always do so good music (a bit commercial)that no other (bad)commercial music can beat them.

Let's see the 2nd week results!

hehe Pierro the Ayu Song is really weak this time and can't beat the greatness of the B'z Song. And Ichibu is a theme song for a j-drama ^^

Ayu doesn't sell as well as she did in 1999~2004, but it happened with everybody. Nowadays, the industry of music is very different than what it was in the 90's. Almost all of the B'z singles in the 90's had more than 1 million of copies sold, now it's almost impossible to reach this number even in an full album. That's why I think nor Ayu nor anybody else can beat B'z in total sales.

The highest number of sales someone can reach today is around 500.000 copies. It the the future, it'll get more and more rare to see a song get past that number.

Ayumi will never outsell B'z in total sales. Her albums and singles are selling much less as it is now, and she has lost all hearing on one of her ears, so...
Then there's of course Mr.Children, but they have existed for almost just as long time as B'z and have only sold 50 mil.

B'z will probably be the best selling band forever!:D

Yaaay...B'z is at #3 today on Oricon daily. Even with all the new releases they still manage to be in the top, but that.s not saying much though as the competitions doesn.t seem to be very strong. Anyway, their sells have been really steady, around 6000 for the past few days...mmmm is Beat Buzzer really that popular?

As for being the best selling group in Japan, I highly doubt any band/singer can beat B.z in the future. Unless Oricon start including legal downloading as part of physical sells, which I also highly doubt.

i can't imagine counting legal downloading but then again isn't that in a different chart or category than actually physically going to the store and buying it?
