Well, I'm gonna write the letter, more genuine I guess. :P
And I just checked out the postage rates online (googled it) and found the rates for Canada Post.
$1.65 for international~

Oh and for the people who have sent the letters, what did you guys write about? Other than the usual "omg i love your music" stuff XD
I'm thinking of asking a question regarding how they write their songs~
I'm learning to write songs, and I think asking a question will make the letter less of a "fan-spam" if you know what i mean lol

I will write in my letter that i'm learning japanese and learning to play the guitar for example...

And i want to add a self-adressed envelope, because i hope for a short answer  ;)
So i need a international reply coupon. With this you can change this coupon into stamps... But yeah the german post doesn't know if this is avaiable in japan...  ::)

No i didn't send my letter until now  :(

so what did you write in yours? mind sharing?

here's what I have so far:
Code: [Select]
I'm a fan from Canada, and I have some questions about song writing.

I am a guitarist myself, and I've tried writing some songs before. I'm usually pretty satisfied with the arrangements and the vocal melodies, but I've noticed that my lyrics are always very "cheesy" (not sure how to explain) and often sound like poems instead of lyrics.

Anyway, here are my questions:
1. (For Koshi) What should I do to improve my lyrics?

2. (For Tak) Which comes first, chord progression or melodies?

3. How do you two combine the music and the lyrics? Does Tak write the melodies after reading Koshi's lyrics, or does Koshi write the lyrics after listening to Tak's melodies?

4. Do you guys have any special tips for song writing?

5. Why do you guys write such awesome songs!? (You don't have to answer this XD)

Thanks for taking the time to read this letter. I hope you guys can help answer these questions.

Sincerely,

(signature+name)

P.S.
Is it possible for you guys to have another US/Canada Tour, or maybe even a World Tour? Even though I'm hoping to attend a LIVE-GYM in Japan sometime in the future, I would love it if I could see you guys live in Vancouver! Your concerts are always so energetic!

 .B'z.LIVE-GYM.....!.

Do you guys think I'm asking too many questions? please give me some feedback~

Yeah, I'm kinda afraid that would happen lol~

I don't really wanna bore them with another fan-story of how I fell in love with their music,
but I don't wanna bother them with a bunch of questions (wouldn't it kinda feel like im FORCING them to reply)...

UGH

What kind of stuff should I write~~??

About asking questions and hopefully getting answers from them, like anjoschka178 says, you have a little chance to get thier answers.
But I know how they do about two of your question. (DVDs, thier interviews are the reference.)

2. (For Tak) Which comes first, chord progression or melodies?
->Chord progression comes first. Then usually Koshi put the melody, (Tak also sugggests the melody sometimes though)

3. How do you two combine the music and the lyrics? Does Tak write the melodies after reading Koshi's lyrics, or does Koshi write the lyrics after listening to Tak's melodies?
->As far as I know, except the song "WARP", all of their songs were created at the order of the music first and the lyrics after.

Are we sure the address is correct? Because for what I know there's something missing. Tokyo address are always Tokyo-to, Something-ku, Something-cho, then the numbers...
Also because Vermillion and B'z Party are in Roppongi, which actually is in Minato...

I guess?

〒106-0032
東京都港区六本木3-4-5
コープ野村第2-209号室
B'z PARTY

Except for the "roppongi" missing in the address, there's nothing else.

Well it's not exactly a little difference :P
I don't think they can deliver without the Roppongi part...
Now I can see it's near Vermillion Records. I should go one of those days and take a picture XD
